Ciprofloxacin second-generation fluoroquinolone with a broad spectrum of activity. It is used to treat bacterial infections.

Ciprofloxacin used to treat bacterial infections, urinary tract infection, nose infection, throat infection, skin infection, bone and joint infections and lung infection.

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic in the class of fluoroquinolones. This type of antibiotic is bactericidal i.e., it directly kills bacteria and not blocked enzymes that are needed for bacteria survival.
