HOW LIDOCAINE INJECTION WORKS
Bisacodyl is deacetylated to the active bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-pyridyl-2-methane (BHPM) by an intestinal deacetylase which stimulate parasympathetic nerves in the colon directly to increase motility and secretions.
